  • Although we’d like to see the real Samsung Omnia Pro and not the mockup we’ve spotted a few weeks back, this Omnia II picture will have to do, together with a couple of leaked specs. Lithuanian site Mobili Linija has the scoop on the new Omnia and it seems that this will also be a Windows Mobile smartphone.

Omnia II, also known as Samsung GT8000 comes with a 3.7 inch AMOLED WVGA screen, an 8.1 megapixel camera with dual LED flash, plus WiFi and GPS. Samsung’s new Cubic interface is also on board and the new device supports DivX, DLNA and it’s powered by Windows Mobile 6.1.

Expect the 11.9mm thick Omnia II device to hit the market sometime in the following 3 months.
