Samsung Omnia (Original Version) to Get WM 6.5 Update?
Since October 6th is coming and with it the launch of new WM 6.5 handsets, plus the software update of the existing ones, we can’t help but wonder what’ll happen with the original Samsung Omnia? Will it be getting the OS update as well?
Although this seems like an unlikely event, a Dutch Omnia owner received word from his local customer service that the update is coming, although there’s not an exact date scheduled for it. This error might have surfaced because of the confusion between Omnia and Omnia 2, a device that’ll really get the upgrade.
We wouldn’t mind seeing WM 6.5 on the first Omnia, a truly generous initiative for the users who love this handset.
