  • Phone Arena has had the unique chance of getting their hands on brand new Omnia smartphones. They reviewed the likes of Samsung Omnia Lite and even Samsung Omnia Pro, that we’ll check out below.

It’s all about the TouchWiz 2.0 interface, in the case of Omnia Pro, since it makes you forget you’re using the good old Windows Mobile 6.1 OS. Customization and modifications rival those on HTC’s TouchFLO 3D, relying on widgets and heavy personalization. Most of the menus are changed and even a press of the Start button on the home screen reveals a brand new menu, both in looks and options.

The Task Manager on Samsung Omnia Pro is very much like the one on Samsung Jet S8000 and Palm Pre, so you’ll check out active icons of apps running in the background. Phone Arena ends its extensive review claiming that Samsung OmniaPRO B7610 is one of the most promising business phones around, specially thanks to the personalization it supports and we can only hope that its specs will be matched by a neat price.
