Samsung Shark Series Includes 3 Models With Social Networking Features
January 15th, 2010 | by Yorga |
Samsung has just introduced the Shark line of phones, including the S5350 Shark model on the left of the picture below, the S5500 Shark 2 model (centre) and the S3550 Shark 3 slider (right side). These are low-end-ish devices, that get detailed after the break.
S5350 Shark is only 11.9mm thick, it features a 3.2 megapixel camera and supports 3.6 Mbps HSDPA 900/2100. Next comes, S5550 Shark 2, a slider with a 5 megapixel autofocus camera, LED flash and support for 900/2100 MHz 3G connectivity and a QVGA AMOLED display. We also find out that this model is supposed to use Kevlar, so it’s probably a rugged phone.
Last comes the low end S3550 Shark 3 slider, without 3G connectivity and with a mere 2 megapixel camera. All of the devices support social network services right from the Home menu, providing direct links to Facebook, MySpace, Bebo and Twitter. Launch date, this month, price, unknown.
