  • Want to get a better look at Samsung Memoir before purchasing the 8 megapixel beauty? This cameraphone is a first for T-Mobile USA and it may remind some of you of Pixon, but there’s more to Memoir than meets the eye.

The folks of Mobileburn reviewed the device and you can check out part 1 of the video analysis below (design, UI, calling contacts):

Memoir measures 4.17” x 2.11” x 0.55”, features an advanced responsive touchscreen and weighs 4.4 ounces. It packs a proprietary OS and a battery that last up to 5.5 hours in talk mode, plus the great 8 megapixel camera we’ve mentioned above and Bluetooth Wireless support. There’s also a full QWERTY touchpad on board, customizable widgets and voice memo.

Memoir’s camera and messaging get detailed in part 2 of the video review, below:

Samsung Memoir’s 8 MP camera comes with auto focus, smile detection, digital zoom, Xenon Flash, effects, self timer, scenes and multi shot, plus support for video recording.

Last, Mobileburn talks about the phone’s browser, calendar and music in the last part of the review:
