  • A recent Tweet by Carla Saavedra says that Samsung is testing a GPS fix these days for Galaxy S handsets. In case you didn’t know, the two US versions of the phone have trouble with their GPS function, unless you tweak a bunch of settings. So, if you own a Samsung Vibrant or Captivate, you might want a taste of that new ROM, right?

Samsung’s Carla Saavedra gives us the good news, concerning the upcoming fix and we wonder if the official ROM is going to come out before XDA Developers makes a move in this direction courtesy of its skilled developers.

Did you experience issues with your version of the Samsung smartphone?
