  • If you want to create a WiFi hotspot with the aid of your Windows 7 computer, you can now use Connectify, a free application available for download from here. This Windows 7 product allows users to share Internet connection wirelessly without extra hardware, chargers or wires.

Connectify also connects to any WiFi enabled devices in the network near the PC using the software, be it laptops, handsets, or consoles. Every device that supports WiFi connectivity will see and join the Connectify hotspot, just like a normal WiFi access point and everything is kept safe by a solid WPA2 Encryption.

The bottom line is that no one wants to carry his/her router on the road, specially because of the extra power outlet needed, so this software is a brilliant idea of a “wireless personal area network”, always ready to share with friends and family.
