Myspace Mobile Video Streaming Now Available on Your Phone
December 3rd, 2008 | by Yorga |
MySpace has just launched a video streaming service for handsets, making video viewing on the go a real ball. Turns out that the popular service for teens will maintain a strong presence on the mobile market, as it supports many different devices.
However the codec combinations and bit rates plus resolutions will vary, as do the handsets, but doing the heavy video duty is RipCode, that offers a neat transcoding solution for on the go video content visualisation.
MySpace’s service will first be launched as a beta version globally, supporting the most popular mobile devices that have video streaming enabled. Afterwards, the number of supported handsets will grow, as will the complexity of the service.
