T-Mobile and Sony Ericsson have just announced the Equinox, a handset with basic features, plus personalized and customizable light notifications. The latter feature will allow the device to light up in amber, beryl, diamond or sapphire whenever a friend calls.
Equinox packs a 2.2 inch QVGA display with a 240 x 320 pixel resolution and the phone also supports 3G data connectivity, GPS and video recording. There’s a 3.2 megapixel camera on board, support for YouTube uploads, MMS messaging, FM radio and Stereo Bluetooth compatibility.
Expect the handset to start selling on T-Mobile from October 28.
