Sony Ericsson Kanna Mystery Phone Looks Like Kurara, Sports a QWERTY Keyboard

January 5th, 2010 | by Yorga |

We’ve got a fresh Sony Ericsson device on our hands and this time it’s a Kurara model lookalike, that you can see in the following image. This handset features a QWERTY keyboard and it’s codenamed SE U8i Kanna, according to the folks of SEMCBlog.

Kanna will run Symbian s60 5th Edition and it packs an 8 megapixel camera with 720p video recording (HD label on the back), although there are some rumours regarding a 5MP camera with the same video capabilities. The handset’s display is a 3.2 inch screen with nHD resolution and the phone also comes with WiFi, a 3.5mm audio jack and a microUSB port.

We expect it to be announced on 14 February at MWC 2010 and we find it pretty surprising that there’s (apparently) a 725 MHz CPU under the hood of this beauty.
