Sony Ericsson Kokura, Another 12 Megapixel Cameraphone or Idou’s Alter Ego?

Sony Ericsson Kokura just got pictured, as you can see in the image below, but the big question is if this device is indeed Idou or not. We remind you that Idou is the first 12 megapixel cameraphone, that was shown in action at the beginning of the year.

Turns out that Kokura’s specs also resemble the ones on Idou, like the 12.1 megapixel camera and S60 5th Edition platform. It would be pretty strange, if Sony Ericsson decided to release handsets with similar specs, because they would canibalize each other’s sales.

One thing’s for sure: we’ll be able to buy the first 12 megapixel cameraphone made by SE this year, be it under the Idou or Kokura branding, or some other commercial name.
