The phone comes with the famous Walkman player, FM radio, TrackID music recognition, a 1.3 megapixel camera with 2.2x digital zoom and video recording support, plus Opera Mini and WAP 2.0XHTML. This slider phone also features a speakerphone, predictive text, MMS, SMS, a torch feature, Java, FM radio with RDS, radio recording and video playback.

Sony Ericsson W205 supports Bluetooth, USB, GSM and GPRS connectivity and the handset measures 92 x 47 x 16.4 mm, weighs 96 grams and uses a TFT display (1.8 inches, 128 x 160 pixels). Its memory is 5 MB, but it can be increased with the aid of a Memory Stick Micro (2 GB). The device’s battery lasts for about 9 hours in talk mode, 425 hours in standby more and 13 hours and 30 minutes in audio playback mode.

W205 will hit the market in Q2 2009, just like the other handset that was announced today.
