Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 Controls Your Car

  • Only James Bond can drive cars with the aid of his mobile phone, but they’re both tricked out items, so don’t expect them to be available at your local retailer. Instead, you can use an XPERIA X1 to control a couple of functions of your car, but only if you own a Saab 9-X Air.

    Via Bluetooth, you’ll get to control the ambient lighting, front and rear seat setting, lock the car, open the rear compartment and switch the lights (blinkers, main lights) on and off. These features can be seen in action at the Paris Motor Show 2008, where the above-mentioned Saab will be controlled remotely by the X1.
