May 28th, 2009 | by ThryStan |
It’s been a great day for Sony Ericsson today, with a couple of very neat announcements, among which the Aino, Satio and Yari handsets. The latter is a phone pertaining to the Entertainment Unlimited series, a slider that comes with a neat design and supports gesture gaming.
Yari is a gaming phone that packs a 2.4 inch 240 x 320 pixels TFT display, dedicated gaming keys and stereo speakers. There’s also a neat 5 megapixel camera on board, with autofocus and photo flash plus a GPS and support for PlayNow services. Expect Yari to hit the market in September 2009 for $558, in Achromatic Black and Cranberry White.
Sony Ericsson’s hot new gaming phone measures 100 x 48 x 15.7mm, weighs 115 grams and it’s bundled with a 1GB SanDisk microSD card, that will extend the 60MB internal memory.
