On December 2th, the Chinese producer TCL announced two new devices, more precisely the TCL Play 2C and the Play 2C. This last one goes today on sale for just $139, a pretty interesting price tag if we take in consideration the fact that we’re getting a fingerprint scanner.

There’s a 5-inch HD display (1280 x 720 pixels), an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor, 2 GB of RAM memory and 16 GB space of internal storage. TCL Play 2 offers 4G+ LTE, a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and f/2.0 aperture, and a 5-megapixel front-facing sensor.

According to the producer, the fingerprint scanner placed under the rear camera will unlock the phone in just 0.5 seconds. TCL Play 2 runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system with a custom interface applied on-top. For this price tag, we think that Play 2 is a great phone to buy at the moment.
