AMOLED Display Versus LCD Screen on Mobile: Photo Viewing (Video)

  • The duel between AMOLED and LCD screens is on, with Pocketnow doing the comparison between the two types of technologies. Photo viewing experience is the segment we have a look at today, with the image below speaking for itself (AMOLED screen in the upper side of the pic).

    As shown by Pocketnow in the video below, as well, the LCD screen may be brighter, but it’s also more washed out. Omnia Pro’s AMOLED screen provides a high level of contrast and you can notice all the texture of a dog’s fur and the wooden floor in a certain series of pics.

    The image is more crisp on the AMOLED display, that also has the advantage of being a huge battery saver. Standard screen technology of the future? You bet!
