April 5th, 2009 | by Yorga |

EB and TerreStar want to bring next-gen services and features on the mobile market, by incorporating quad-band GSM/EDGE and tri-band WCDMA/HSPA support on a single smartphone, but also integrating satellite-terrestrial voice and data capabilities.

The resulting device will resemble most modern PDAs and it’ll come with a compact form factor. This brand new smartphone will connect to 2G/3G networks and to TerreStar’s S-Band satellite network, plus it’ll run Windows Mobile (unspecified version) and support SMS, MMS, email, Push to talk and whatnot.

There’s also support for Location Based Services on its specs list, a touchscreen and a full QWERTY keyboard.
