Maine State Official Wants Cancer Warning Labels on Cellphones
The theory that cellphones can cause brain cancer has existed almost as long as mobile phones have and here’s yet another chapter of this famous story. Now it turns out that a representative in Maine will be proposing a change of legislature that’ll require all handsets to display cancer warning labels.
These labels will also mention the link between RF emissions and brain cancer, also advising users to keep the devices away from their bodies. This would probably result in a huge sale of Bluetooth headsets, but modern phones are not all about talking, since texting is such a hit an IM/social networking is too.
