  • There’s a new video glasses manufacturer in town and its name is Mobintech, a company that aims at changing the way we watch TV programmes on our cellphones. They’ll be introducing an innovative set of TV glasses at Mobile World Congress 2009, a product known as PDG.

Mobintech’s PDG will replace the small screen of your handset and it’ll double the battery life, compared to viewing mobile TV on your phone screen. The other advantages are the lack of cables, batteries and the fact that you won’t have to stop watching mobile TV, in order to answer your phone.

The glasses are also lighter and have a higher mobility, thanks to their design. All you need is a mobile phone with a digital TV-out interface and the PDG, that will provide sharp and crisp images in an experience that resembles the one of watching a 30 inch screen TV.
