  • If you haven’t heard about the In Technology Group (ITG) company, you’re not the one to blame, since this is not a great brand, but they have unveiled a pretty neat device: the XPPhone. This gadget is a combo between a MID and a mobile phone running Windows XP.

The XPPhone features a 4.8 inch TFT touchscreen display supporting a 800 x 480 pixels resolution and it also comes with a sliding QWERTY keyboard. ITG’s device weighs 400 grams and also packs GPS, an AMD CPU, WiFi, Bluetooth and HDDs of up to 120 GB.

XPPhone supports GSM/WCDMA, CDMA/EVDO and TD-SCDMA/TD-HSDPA connectivity, so it can be used anywhere on the globe. You can check out a prototype of this device at Computex 2009 and if you’re wondering about its launch date and price, these are unknown yet.
