O2 Germany has just announced that they’ll be selling the very hot Toshiba TG01 smartphone exclusively, packing that great 4.1 inch touchscreen display and a 1 GHz CPU.

The handset got previewed at MWC 2009 and we know that it comes with a 3D interface, HSDPA, HSUPA and EDGE support, GPS and A-GPS, all of those in a 9.9 mm package.

This is “the thinnest smartphone in the world”, also offering gesture control (shake the phone to answer a call) and Toshiba TG01 will be available starting this summer, in white only.

O2 plans on offering mobile content of great quality and at great speeds thanks to this device, so it will probably sell like hot cakes, if its price is decent enough.
