Toshiba TG01 Ready for Orange UK Launch

July 9 is the big day for British folks looking for a hot new smartphone. I’m talking about the long awaited Toshiba TG01, a handset packing the most powerful mobile processor on the market, Qualcomm Snapdragon, a 1 GHz CPU.

This Windows Mobile phone will be available via Orange UK, but the price isn’t available yet. We don’t know if Orange is the exclusive carrier for the phone, but we’ll solve the mystery in less than a week’s time.

We remind you that Toshiba TG01 packs a 4.1 inch wide VGA display, a 9.9mm case, a 3.15 megapixel camera and a TFT resistive touchscreen. Facebook and YouTube apps are also on board, plus a battery that lasts 5 hours in talk mode and 11 days in standby mode.
