Toshiba TG01, the 1GHz Snapdragon-based “Monster” is Now Available in Japan
The very hot Toshiba TG01 smartphone has just hit Japanese retailers, as NTT DoCoMo T-01A. This device was shown to the public back in February and it amazed everyone, by sporting a very fast Qualcomm 1GHz Snapdragon CPU.
As if the processor wasn’t surprising enough, TG01 also packs a 4.1 inch WVGA touchscreen (resistive), with a 800 x 480 pixels resolution, GPS, WiFi, HSDPA and a custom Toshiba UI, “hiding” Windows Mobile 6.1. Now that the uber-smartphone is available in Japan, we might as well see it hitting Europe and the US… hopefully.
