LG Chocolate Touch Available Now on Verizon and Alltel

Verizon has just released the 4th phone in the LG Chocolate series, the Touch VX8575 model, also the first to pack a 3.2 megapixel camera a full touchscreen interface. The handset comes with a 3 inch display with a 400 x 240 pixel resolution and it should also be available on Alltel.
1GB of internal memory is available on Chocolate Touch, plus an extra of up to 16GB, thanks to microSDHC cards. The handset’s music player comes with several equalizer settings (Dolby Mobile) and it even provides the user with a virtual drum set and piano keyboard. Chocolate Touch also allows one to listen to his/her favorite MP3s and FM radio stations.
LG’s fresh phone goes for $79.99 with a $50 rebate and a 2 year contract, $149.99 after rebate, with a 1 year contract and $259.99 in full retail version. Under the Alltel branding, LG Chocolate Touch is dubbed LG AX8575 Touch and this version is available for free, after a $50 mail in rebate and with a two year contract.
