  • The Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX, advertised as the longest lasting 4G phone has just become available on Verizon’s site for $299 and already there’s a better offer. Amazon Wireless offers a $100 discount and gives you the device for $199.99 with a Verizon contract.

Meanwhile, the handset is available on Motorola’s website for $599.99 and I guess that’s off contract and unlocked offer. The Droid RAZR MAXX is very much like the original Droid RAZR, that came late last year, but this newcomer brings an extended battery life, through a pretty big power source – 3300 mAh battery.

This one provides over 24 hours of battery life and the rest of the specs remain the same, including the dual core CPU, 8MP camera, Kevlar back, Android Gingerbread and slim design, that has been bulked up a bit by the battery. Another handset to keep your eyes on is the Droid 4, that’s seen by many as the RAZR with a sliding QWERTY keyboard. Tempted about either of these Moto units?
