Motorola Sholes A855 Gets the FCC Blessing, Ready for Verizon Launch?

  • Moto Sholes A855 has just passed the FCC testing and it’s now getting ready to reach Verizon, branded as Motorola Tao. The handset supports EVDO Rev A , as we already knew, but it also comes with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g and its launch date revolves around “sometime in October”.

    Also known as Calgary, Motorola Sholes packs a QWERTY keyboard, a 3.7 inch touchscreen display, a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash, plus 256 MB RAM. Android runs the show on the device and its specs list includes 512MB ROM, GPS, a microSD/microSDHC card slot and a 3.5mm audio jack as well.
