Verizon Launches Casio Exilim and Motorola Rival

Verizon Wireless has launched 2 new handsets, Casio Exilim and Motorola Rival A455, that we’ve seen pictured and detailed a bunch of time, till now. Casio’s new phone is a clamshell device, featuring a 180 degree rotating QVGA display and a 5.1 megapixel camera.

Said camera comes with autofocus, flash, image stabilizer and 3x optical zoom, so the Exilim becomes one of the strongest cameraphones in the US. The handset supports 1X/EV-DO Rev A. connectivity, packs a GPS, HTML web browser, Bluetooth and a music player. Exilim is available for $279.99 with a 2 year contract, after a $50 rebate.

Moto Rival A455 can be considered an entry level phone, cheaper than Casio’s phone and featuring a full QWERTY keyboard, a touch dial pad, GPS, a 2 megapixel camera and microSD slot. Rival includes a 176 x 220 pixels display, a 3.5mm headset jack and 130MB of internal memory. You can buy it right now for $99.99 with a 2 year contract agreement.
