Verizon Wireless Announces Samsung Omnia II for December 2

Samsung Omnia II i920 has just gone official via Verizon, that will launch the handset on December 2. Just like Moto Droid, Samsung Omnia II will cost $199.99 with a 2 year contract and a $100 mail in rebate.

Omnia II is a Windows Mobile 6.5 device and it packs a 3.7 inch AMOLED touchscreen display, Opera 9.5, GPS and a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash. DNSe technology is also on board,, as well as WiFi support, a virtual QWERTY keyboard with Swipe technology, social networking features and Bluetooth profiles supported.

Omnia II debuts the Samsung Widget Store in the US, providing access to hundreds of free widgets, that’ll customize your phone.
