Verizon Wireless, Ready to Launch a Swivel Nokia Phone?
April 13th, 2009 | by ThryStan |
After finding out that Nokia is preparing new touchscreen phones and a couple of MIDs for later this year, we learn that Verizon Wireless is also planning to launch a brand new device branded Nokia. Turns out that the phone will be a swivel handset, much like the one you can see below.
“Secret sources” have confirmed that the new Nokia phone will resemble the successful E71 and who knows, maybe we’ll even see an upgrade, as far as specs are concerned. Verizon will launch this original handset this summer (July or August), so we might get the specs in a couple of weeks.
For now, we only know that the mystery device packs a a QWERTY keyboard and runs Symbian S40, instead of S60.
