Vivo debuted two new handsets today, after the excellent X6 and X6 Plus and these ones are more affordable models, with midrange to high end specs. They’re the Vivo V3 and V3 Max and it appears that launch went down in India.

Vivo v3 is the more affordable unit, priced starting at $270 and packing a Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor, as well as a 5 inch HD screen and 3 GB of RAM. It also brings 32 GB of storage, a 13 megapixel camera with PDAF and a front 8 MP shooter for selfies. Inside we find a 2550 mAh battery and specs include a fingerprint scanner too.

Moving up, the Vivo V3 Max opts for a stronger CPU, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 and it’ll be priced at $362. This one is a genuine phablet, with a 5.5 inch Full HD screen, plus 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. At the back there’s a 13 MP shooter and upfront an 8 MP one, plus there’s a 3000 mAh battery inside. We also get a fingerprint scanner here.

These handsets share a good looking metallic body and HiFi acoustics.
