Vodafone Purchases GPS Solution Maker Wayfinder

Vodafone announced its intention to buy Wayfinder, a Swedish company that makes GPS mobile solutions that run on Symbian, UIQ, Windows Mobile and other operating systems. The red and white carrier is willing to pay $29.3 million for the company’s shares, with the blessing of its board and shareholders.
What does this mean for Vodafone users? Better GPS apps in the future, developed by Vodafone and Wayfinder and many other navigational solutions for all sorts of mobile devices.
