Vodafone UK Cuts Roaming Chargers This Summer
After the EU Parliament decided to cut roaming costs across Europe, Vodafone UK announced that it intends on completely dropping roaming charges this summer (from June 1 to the end of August). As it stands now, all Vodafone UK customers will be able to call and text from over 35 European countries, at the prices applied inside the UK.
The offer applies both to pay as you go customers and those using contracts, but too bad that this neat promotion doesn’t include mobile Internet. Vodafone also announced that it’ll cut the prices for calling abroad from the UK, starting today actually. Turns out that the carrier’s customers will be able to call abroad for as little as 5 pence per minute.
