  • Chinese phone manufacturer ZTE has recently showcased two new Windows Mobile GSM phones, during Wireless Japan 09. Both handsets support HSPA, GPS and FM radio and the models are called “Xiang” and “Raise”.

ZTE Xiang comes with a 3 megapixel autofocus camera, a 2.5 inch touchscreen and a front-facing QWERTY keyboard, while Raise packs a 5 megapixel autofocus camera and a 3.2 inch touchscreen. Too bad that the screens are QVGA, a feat that would be cool in 2006, but not today.

Expect to see the phones leaving Asia and hitting carriers worldwide, with entry level prices.
