The first dual-core smartphone in the world just debuted in South Korea and it’s coming to Europe before the month is out. Also, the Tegra 2 1080p-recording handset will be launched in a white version next month, but only in its homeland (Korea).

This phone is famous for its top quality specs, including a large 4 inch capacitive touchscreen display, dual core 1GHz CPU, HDMI, DLNA and 8MP camera capable of 1080p video capture. There’s also a 1.3MP sensor upfront and the OS of choice for the phone is Android 2.2 Froyo sadly, but a Gingerbread update is coming, rest assured.

Let’s hope that it takes LG Optimus 2X less time to get Android 2.3 than Galaxy S to get Froyo in the States…
