Samsung has begun rolling out One UI 9 Beta 2 for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 in South Korea, bringing four Galaxy AI additions alongside fixes for several software and connectivity problems. The update is also expected to reach beta users in the US, India and the UK later.

The new tools include Call Brief, which surfaces relevant information about the person on a call, such as important past conversations, messages and shared upcoming events. Custom Cards in Now Brief can generate personalized AI summaries using selected apps including Samsung Health, Weather and YouTube, with cards scheduled to appear at specified times.

Now Nudge analyzes information visible on screen and suggests a possible next action. If a chat mentions arranging a meeting, for example, it may recommend opening Calendar. My FanCam lets users select a person in an existing video and create a crop that keeps that subject centered, a feature aimed at footage recorded in crowded settings such as concerts.

Samsung is also using the beta update to address Wi-Fi disconnections, Bixby Vision translation errors, game-controller connection issues and Contacts app crashes. On the Galaxy Z Fold 7, the changelog additionally fixes an issue that could leave the inner display off after the device was unfolded, as well as a problem affecting 15x video zoom.

The same AI package has recently started reaching the Galaxy S25 series, extending features that debuted on newer Samsung flagships including the Galaxy S26, Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Flip 8. Samsung has not yet confirmed when the stable One UI 9 release will arrive for the Fold 7 and Flip 7.
