At the end of last month we informed you about the fact htat TENAA certified the Galaxy Mega On, a 5.5-inch mid-range device prepared by the South-Korean company Samsung. Today, it looks like its compact variant called Galaxy Grand On (SM-G5500), receives as well the certification from the Chinese agency.

We get to know that this phone arrives with a 5.1 inch TFT HD display (1280 x 720 pixels), with a quad-core Exynos 3475 processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, and with just 1 GB of RAM memory. We have 8 GB space of internal storage and a microSD card slot up to 128 GB.

Samsung Galaxy Grand On offers a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, a 5-megapixel front-facing sensor, 4G LTE connectivity and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop as default operating system with the TouchWiz custom interface applied on top. In terms of sizes, this device weighs 140 grams and measures 8.5 mm in thickness. It remains to see what price tag will practice Samsung for this new low-end phone.
