Roborock has introduced the Saros 20 Flow Complete, a flagship robot vacuum designed to handle unusually high two-stage thresholds while retaining a low 89.8mm body. Its AdaptiLift Traverse 3.0 system combines a climbing arm with coordinated chassis lifting to cross a first step up to 4.5cm and a second step of up to 4.3cm, for a quoted combined maximum of 8.8cm.
That figure does not mean the robot can climb a single 8.8cm step. It applies specifically to two successive levels within Roborock’s stated limits. The retractable LiDAR module is intended to let the Saros 20 Flow Complete travel beneath lower furniture when needed, while still providing LiDAR navigation.
Cleaning hardware includes HyperForce suction rated at up to 36,000Pa and the Dual Anti-Tangle setup, which pairs a DuoDivide main brush with two liftable side brushes. Roborock says its own tests recorded a 0% hair-tangling rate with 20cm, 30cm and 40cm hair strands; this is a manufacturer test result rather than an independent measurement.

For mopping, the SpiraFlow 2.0 system uses a 270mm roller supplied with clean water through 16 pressurized outlets. The roller can spin at up to 240rpm, with dirty water removed separately as it cleans. The mop can also lift by up to 15mm.
The robot uses Reactive AI Obstacle Recognition alongside its LiDAR system, with Roborock claiming recognition of more than 300 obstacle types. It can identify nearby pets, stop the main brush and alter its route. An RGB camera is also used to identify floor types and adjust water delivery, including on wood floors.
Roborock says the AI cleaning system can adapt its response to different messes, increasing suction for examples such as coffee grounds or cat litter and switching to a mop-only approach for spilled liquids. SmartPlan 3.0 is among the listed AI features.
The Saros 20 Flow Complete is paired with a new RockDock station, which automates maintenance for the robot and its mop. Roborock demonstrated the model at IFA 2026, but broader international pricing and availability were not confirmed in the supplied information.
