Honor will launch the MagicPad 4 tablet in China on September 28, 2026, alongside the Magic 9 smartphone series. The tablet combines a 12.1-inch 165Hz LCD display with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, while China preorders are already open.
The 12.1-inch panel has a 3000 × 1872 resolution, a pixel density of 292ppi and peak brightness rated at 700 nits. Honor is also highlighting slim display bezels and a 100x zoom feature, although it has not detailed how that zoom function will be implemented.
Honor says the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 is paired with a new 3D cooling system featuring more than 37,000mm² of graphite heat-dissipation material. The company claims an 11.7% performance increase, but did not identify the device or platform used for that comparison. Other hardware includes six stereo speakers and a 10,100mAh battery rated for up to 70 days of standby time.
On the software side, the MagicPad 4 will offer an updated PC Mode intended to run multiple apps simultaneously in a more desktop-like interface. Honor also says the tablet can transfer photos, videos and other files to iOS devices.
In China, the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage version is priced at CNY 3,299, while the 12GB RAM and 256GB model costs CNY 3,699. Honor has not confirmed availability or pricing for markets outside China.
