Apple has introduced a refreshed Apple Music logo in the third developer betas of iOS 27.2 and macOS 27.2, signaling that the design is likely intended to become the service’s wider visual identity rather than remain tied to a single project.

The same mark appeared in September with the announcement of Apple Music Hall, Apple’s venue at Battersea Power Station. Its presence across the latest iPhone, iPad and Mac software betas points to a broader rollout for Apple Music.

Apple Music’s main website and web player still use the previous logo, so the branding update is not yet universal. Apple may update those surfaces alongside the public releases of iOS 27.2 and macOS 27.2, which are expected later this month following the commercial launch of the iPhone Duo.

The logo change does not indicate any confirmed feature changes for the streaming service. Whether Apple pairs the wider branding rollout with additional Apple Music updates remains unconfirmed.
