Honor is preparing to enter the compact gaming-tablet segment with the Win Tablet, a China-bound model that combines an 8.4-inch OLED display running at 240Hz with a 10,000mAh battery. Official teasers also confirm Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and an active cooling system intended to sustain performance during extended gaming sessions.
- 8.4-inch OLED display with a 2304 x 1440-pixel resolution and 240Hz refresh rate
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor with active cooling
- 10,000mAh battery
- A teased configuration with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage
The 8.4-inch panel would make the Win Tablet smaller than the 8.8-inch Lenovo Legion Tab Gen 5 and the 9.06-inch RedMagic Astra 2. Honor’s claimed battery capacity is also higher than the 9,000mAh unit in Lenovo’s tablet and the 8,300mAh pack in the RedMagic model.
| Tablet | Display size | Battery capacity |
|---|---|---|
| Honor Win Tablet | 8.4 inches | 10,000mAh |
| Lenovo Legion Tab Gen 5 | 8.8 inches | 9,000mAh |
| RedMagic Astra 2 | 9.06 inches | 8,300mAh |
Honor has scheduled the Win Tablet’s launch in China for October 21. The company has not confirmed whether the gaming tablet will receive a wider international release.
