Grand Theft Auto VI may launch with 55 achievements on Xbox Series X|S and 55 trophies on PlayStation 5, according to separate reports from accounts tracking platform data. Rockstar Games has not confirmed either list, so the reported totals and their contents remain provisional.
An iGrandTheftAuto post on X citing dataminer TexFunz2 says 55 Xbox achievements have been configured. Fifty-four are assigned IDs from 1 through 54, while the final entry carries the value 1,000. That unusual final value could signal a completion-related achievement or a placeholder connected to Xbox's Mythic Achievement category, but neither interpretation has been verified.
PlayStation Game Size has separately reported the same total of 55 trophies for the PS5 version, including a Platinum trophy. Trophy names and unlock requirements have not surfaced, leaving the game's story-related and activity-based objectives unknown.
| Game | Reported or launch platform | Trophy/achievement count | Context |
|---|---|---|---|
| Grand Theft Auto VI | PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S | 55 reported | Unconfirmed platform-data reports |
| Grand Theft Auto V | PlayStation 3 | 50 | Launch trophy total |
| Red Dead Redemption 2 | PlayStation 4 | 52 | Includes Platinum and online-related trophies |
A higher total would not by itself indicate a longer campaign: achievements can cover major missions, short side activities, collectibles, or broader completion goals. Reports also suggest the purported GTA VI list could be focused entirely on single-player content, unlike the original lists for GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2, which included multiplayer-related trophies. That split has not been confirmed.

Rockstar says Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled to arrive on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with preloading due to begin on November 10. The developer has yet to publish the final achievement and trophy lists, including whether the reported 55-item total will remain intact at launch.
