Acer’s new Swift Air laptops bring Intel Core Series 3 processors, 120Hz displays and 70Wh batteries to slim 14-inch and 16-inch designs. The Swift Air 16 is scheduled to reach Europe in December 2026, though Acer has yet to confirm European pricing for the model.
The Swift Air 14 weighs 1.19kg and features a 14-inch WUXGA IPS display in a 16:10 aspect ratio with a 120Hz refresh rate. It can be configured with up to an Intel Core 7 350 processor, 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD. Connectivity includes two Thunderbolt 4 ports, USB-A and Wi-Fi 6E.
Acer rates the 70Wh battery for up to 19 hours of video playback. That figure should be treated as a vendor claim, as battery-life tests are not directly comparable across manufacturers. The notebook has a backlit keyboard and is offered in Sage Green, Blossom Pink, Frost Blue and Lilac Purple finishes.
The larger Swift Air 16 measures 13.3mm thick and weighs 1.5kg. Its top display option is a 16-inch 2880 × 1800 OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, while Acer will also offer a WUXGA IPS touchscreen configuration. Like its smaller sibling, it reaches up to a Core 7 350 chip, 16GB of LPDDR5x memory and a 512GB SSD.
Acer equips the Swift Air 16 with a large touchpad, a backlit keyboard, four speakers and two Thunderbolt 4 ports. It also includes PurifiedVoice noise reduction and PurifiedView camera enhancement features for video calls. Its 70Wh battery can reportedly reach 50% charge in 30 minutes when using a 100W adapter.
The Swift Air 14 enters a compact-laptop segment where specifications such as memory capacity, ports and display refresh rate may help it stand apart. Acer has not announced launch timing or pricing for the 14-inch model, leaving those details central to how the new Air range will compete internationally.
