Apple is expected to unveil a new smart home lineup on October 13, with a teaser shared by Apple Senior Vice President of Marketing Greg Joswiak pointing to three products built around the company’s new Siri AI assistant.
Posted on X.com, the teaser shows multicolored embroidery carrying the words “Welcome Home,” reinforcing the smart home focus. The products are expected to support the new Siri AI experience.
- A new Apple TV 4K.
- HomePod mini 2.
- A HomePad or Home Hub with a 6-inch square display, expected in a desk-mounted version with a stand and a wall-mountable version. The device is said to include a speaker and use a metal arm to support its display.
The reported Home Hub configurations would give Apple a more direct smart-display presence, with the wall-mounted model potentially suited to kitchen or household-control use. Apple is also said to be planning a separate event for iPad and Mac announcements later in October.
Apple has not confirmed product names, specifications, pricing or release timing for the expected smart home devices, leaving the October 13 event as the next key milestone.
