Bluetooth Special Interest Group has recently announced that they’ll introduce the Bluetooth 3.0 specification later this month. The new version will use a technology that allows Bluetooth profiles to connect and operate at WiFi speeds.

Bluetooth 3.0 will provide faster transfers, allowing the users to send videos, music and images in just seconds. The new specification will also feature Enhanced Power Control, that decreases the chance of getting disconnected while performing casual activities, like putting the phone in your pocket or purse.
