The long-awaited Google Phone, also dubbed Nexus One officially is getting released by Google right now, during a special event. This is a smartphone made by HTC, packing a an AMOLED WVGA touch display with a 3.7 inches diagonal and a 800 x 480 pixels resolution, Android 2.1 on board, running on top of a 1 GHz CPU and a 5 megapixel camera. The specs list also includes 512 MB flash memory, 512 MB RAM, a microSD card slot and the device even supports Google Earth.

In case you think that this handset looks just like Motorola Droid, you’re probably right, since they’re quite similar. iPhone killer? We’ll see…
