Well, the fact that this is HTC Desire2 is strictly speculation, so don’t blame us if it’s not… What’s certain is that we’re dealing with a new HTC flagship Android phone, that was caught on camera in Taiwan, Taipei. Mobile World Congress is coming, all the more reason for HTC to start testing goodies locally.

What we can spot in these leaked images are a volume rocker that reminds us of HTC Mozart, a large touchscreen display, an arching earpiece and a front facing camera with chrome ring. This handset is quite Nexus-ish, but it’s unlikely it’ll be another Google Phone, so soon after the Samsung Nexus s. We imagine that the smartphone runs Android 2.3 at least, it sports a dual core CPU, at least an 8MP camera and maybe LTE connectivity.

Will this unit be available at MWC 2011?
