iBall Andi Uddaan Mini is a new handset available in India, priced at $92 and intended for the female public. This model has special security features and a heart shaped button at the back, with an SOS branded on top of it.

The phone has been listed on eBay and it’s a dual SIM unit, coming in black, grey and brown, with the latter two being available as interchangeable cases. The iBall device uses an 8 megapixel camera with autofocus and BSI, plus a LED flash and apparently handles low light conditions well. It has dual stereo speakers, an IPS display with unknown diagonal and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box. Inside it there’s a quad core processor, 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB of storage.

This unit offers a microSD card slot with support for up to 32 GB, 3G with download speeds of up to 21 Mbps and 5.76 Mbps upload speeds. There’s Bluetooth 4.0 on board, USB 2.0 too and a GPS. An extra little feature is the inclusion of a Swarovski Zirconia crystal on the Home button. The SOS button is meant to start a handset “siren” alerting the people around and sending messages to emergency contacts.

It also posts on Facebook your location on your behalf.
