Come September 6th, LG is going to unveil a new fall flagship, a device tentatively known as the LG V20 and till then we have a few leaked renders to glance at. As usual we take them with a grain of salt, even though they come from a solid source, @OnLeaks.

It would appear we’re dealing with a sort of reimagined LG G5, with a dual back camera and Android 7.0 Nougat. The G5 was first perceived as innovative, but then the modularity thing felt like a gimmick. We can’t yet tell if the V20 is also modular, but if the bottom “lip” shown here is any indication, it probably is. The camera hump seems even bigger than on the G5, certainly adding to the rumored 7.7 mm waistline of the V20.

LG V20 is said to measure 159.5 mm in length and 78.1 mm in width, which makes it the same height as the V10, but much narrower. The secondary screen above the main one is kept and very minimal bezels are here too. A power button is at the back, most likely with a fingerprint scanner included. LG V20 seems to have an extra button on the side, perhaps to remove the module, or maybe to take camera shots.

The device is expected to come with an USB Type C port, 4 GB of RAM, a Snapdragon 820 or 821 CPU and a 5.7 inch Quad HD screen. It’s not yet clear if we’ll get dual front cameras.
