Today, the Indian producer Micromax in partnership with Aircel released the Canvas Beat smartphone both on the Indian and Russian market at a $166 price tag. This device comes with a preloaded music-dedicated Aircel Music app that offers 1.000 free songs to the new buyers.




Micromax Canvas Beat packs a 5-inch qHD IPS display with a 960 x 540 pixel resolution, a quad-core Broadcom BCM23550 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, 1 GB of RAM, 4 GB of storage, a microSD card slot up to 32 GB, two SIM slots, a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.


The battery found in this device is a 1.900 mAh unit that will offer up to 5 hours of talk time and 150 hours of standby time. Micromax Canvas Beat runs Android 4.2 JellyBean for the moment and you can buy it at a $166 price tag.
