OnePlus will introduce the OnePlus 16 in China on October 12, positioning the upcoming flagship around high-frame-rate gaming. Teasers point to a Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen6 processor accompanied by three dedicated co-processors aimed at display quality, touch response and latency.
- P4: a display-focused co-processor that OnePlus says is designed to improve gaming clarity.
- T3: a co-processor intended to enhance touch response.
- G3: a low-latency chipset aimed at competitive and esports gaming.

The company is also claiming native support for 185 FPS, alongside a DLSS 4-style Super Frame frame-generation technology intended to raise frame rates in games without native support for that level of performance.
OnePlus says adaptations have been made for several mainstream titles to run at 185 FPS from the outset:

- Peacekeeper Elite
- Dark Zone Breakout
- CS Online – Future Tactics
- CrossFire Mobile
- Firefly Assault
- Naruto Mobile

The teasers do not yet detail the OnePlus 16 cooling system, a key remaining question for a device built around sustained gaming performance. Pricing, full specifications and availability beyond the China launch have not been confirmed.
